Hi, everyone! I am a third-year Ph.D. student in ORFE. Originally, I am from Frankfurt, Germany, but over the years I studied in Canada, Scotland, Hong Kong, and England before coming to the US. I earned my undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Edinburgh before completing my master's in Economics at the University of Cambridge. Additionally, I spent one year working in consulting before returning to grad school. My research interests revolve around causal inference and applications of machine learning in the social sciences. In my free time, I enjoy running and cooking. I am always down to try out a new sport and I am very interested in ethics and animal welfare. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone throughout the next academic year!
