Hello Whitman folks! I am originally from Cadiz, Spain, but I have spent close to eleven years living in California. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Berkeley. After graduating, I spent four years working at Mission Analytics Group (a government consulting firm in San Francisco) as a research analyst and later as a senior research analyst. Primarily involved in the quantitative analysis of public policies, I focused on issues related to childcare, child welfare services, at risk youth, health care access and reform, and services for people with disabilities. I am now pursuing the Masters of Public Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School to further explore the topics of labor economics, macroeconomics and social interventions. To complement my studies, I am doing a short term consultancy with the World Bank over the summer. Following graduation, I plan on returning to my home country to help disadvantaged communities through effective economic and social policies. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, reading, traveling!!, exercising and spending quality time with my loved ones. I love meeting new people, so if you see me around, make sure to say hi and chat!
