I am a 2nd year PhD student in the Politics Department and I am very excited to meet you! I was born in Chicago, but I spent my formative years in Ghana and went to high school in Fairfax, Virginia. Prior to Princeton, I studied Human Geography and Government at Dartmouth College, and worked for two years as a manager at an eclectic consumer goods firm in CT.
I am very interested in economic and political development in sub-Saharan Africa, and plan to write my dissertation on how those two processes intersect with migration. I speak Twi and English, but can occasionally get by with French. I love cooking, but I am terrible at baking. If you love spicy food, I am your person. I also love crime shows, political dramas, fiction books, strength training, hosting events, and thinking of business/entrepreneurial projects. Say hi if you see me around, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever want to talk.
I look forward to getting to know you!
