Bio/Description

I am a Research Scholar at the Liechtenstein Institute in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA). I received my PhD in Politics from Princeton University and also hold MA and MSc degrees in Psychology and Social and Political Theory, both from the University of Edinburgh. In addition to the US and the UK, I have also lived in Germany and Italy, and I was born and raised in Belgium. My research interests lie in global governance, migration, refugees, citizenship, and borders. My teaching interests also include the environment and gender. At SPIA, I regularly teach Junior Research Seminars and a course on ethical policy making.
